Wuf Shanti is an adorable dog yoga character that travels the world sharing yoga, meditation, & mindfulness with kids through fun games & music. Shanti means peace. Wuf Shanti was created by a kid for other kids, promotes health, wellness, & happiness in children, & encourages peace and positivity. His grandpa taught him mantras about positive thinking, kindness, and gratitude, and now those lessons are being passed on to the next generation. It started with a book, My Grand-Dog was a Yoga Instructor, and now is a series of videos that aired on the Children’s Television Network on their children’s hospital TV stations around the country, and on local PBS stations. Wuf Shanti visits schools, yoga studios, children’s hospitals, & charitable organizations.
Our intentions for Wuf Shanti are: (1) to teach kids to live in peace & gratitude, spread kindness, let go of stress, & deal with emotions in better ways so they grow up to be less depressed and anxious teenagers and happier peace-loving adults, (2) to help kids learn to think positively every day because science tells us that yoga, meditation, & positive thinking can help the healing process, and (3) to reach kids when they are young so we can heal our planet.
Wuf Shantis main mantras are the positive thinking mantra, "Think Well to Be Well", the kindness mantra, "Smile and the World Will Smile with You", & the gratitude mantra, "Smile and Say Thank You".
